Job: The Midland French Restaurant, Manchester

Clients:  Manchester Evening News, City Life section

Publication date: 2 May 2008 

Technical details: Canon 40D digital, Sigma 10-20 EX, 1250 ASA

Comments: Part of a review feature on the restaurant. Lukasz Marciniak with his vast bread trolley filled with whole loaves. Originally a  railway company hotel, the Midland French still has some of the air of Edwardian formality about it. The flambé trolley, the Louis XIV style decor etc. I thought this picture summed up the atmosphere best.
